Fay Rigney Lewis, 77, of Martinsville, formerly of Covington, died Monday, October 16, 2017, in Lewis Gale Medical Center at Salem.

Fay Rigney Lewis, 77, of Martinsville, formerly of Covington, died Monday, October 16, 2017, in Lewis Gale Medical Center at Salem.
Mrs. Lewis was born April 17, 1940, in Martinsville a daughter of the late Steve and Daisy Hairfield Rigney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles “Buck” Lewis, in 1969 and an infant Son, Keith Edward Lewis.
Surviving are two Daughters and Sons-in-law, Trina and Ike Maxey of Martinsville and Teresa and Roger Shrader of Salem; two Sons and Daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lynette Lewis of Covington and Charles “Pete” Lewis, Jr. and Christell of Martinsville; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one Sister, Glenda Hamby, of Martinsville.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 3:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Price officiating.
Internment of the ashes will be made in Palestine Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive their friends from 2:00 PM until service time on Saturday at Arritt Funeral Home.
