NANCY VIA Nancy Nicely Via, 67, of 266 E. 34 th Street, Buena Vista, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. She was born August 13, 1944 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Sydney and Edna Newell Nicley. Mrs. Via was an employee of the Sayre Industries Sewing Plant in Buena Vista. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Edward R. Via of Buena Vista; one step son, Ryland and Debbie Via of Covington; one step daughter, Becky Armentrout of Covington; 6 step grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Hartless of Ohio and Sue Tucker and her husband Wilbur of Hot Springs; two brothers, James Nicely and his wife Rita of Covington and Sydney "Pete" Nicely of Clifton Forge; two sisters in law, Kathy Sterling and Donna Via both of Covington; a brother in law, Robert A. Smith of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews.
