Carol Ann Watts Baker, 75, of 1325 North Alleghany Avenue died Saturday morning, November 10, 2018, in Lewis Gale Medical Center at Salem.
Mrs. Baker was born April 19, 1943, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late George Nicely and Virginia Montgomery Watts Nicely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, James C. Baker, Sr., in August of this year.
Ann was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are three Sons and Daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Sissy Baker of Williamsburg; Jeff and Jackie Baker of Covington; Mark and Becky Baker of Roanoke; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.; two Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Nancy and Earl Loan and Millie and Harry Clark, all of Clifton Forge; one Brother and Sister-in-law, Charlie and Sherry Watts, of Clifton Forge and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Daniels officiating.
Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The family will receive their friends for one hour before the service on Tuesday at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the New Hope Baptist Church; 1403 S. Dee Street; Covington, VA 24426
