Richard Michael Irvin, 48, of 621 West Hawthorne Street, died, Thursday morning, May 28, 2020, at his home.
Mr. Irvin was born September 20, 1971, in Alleghany County a son of Virginia Thompson Irvin Biggs of Hot Springs and the late Boyd Irvin. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Cecil Irvin.
He had retired from Boxley Quarries in Blue Ridge.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his Son, Gabriel Michael Irvin, of Covington; his Daughter, Faith Marie Irvin, of Covington, three Sisters, Betty Mabry and her husband, Perry, of Covington; Marsha Sargeant of Wirt, WV; and Angie Perry of Glasgow; ; one Brother, Frank Irvin of Covington; his companion, Danette O’Conner, of Covington and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the guidelines of the current pandemic crisis, a graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 2:00 PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
The family will gather one hour prior to service at Arritt Funeral Home.
