James Orville "Jamie" Ward III, 25, of 3900 Indian Draft Road, died, Sunday, September 2, 2012. He was born November 5, 1986, in Alleghany County, a son of James "Bubby" and Deanna Carper Ward. Mr. Ward was employed with New River Electrical as a Groundsman/Operator. He was a member of Hoke Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by two brothers, Zachory Ward, and Caleb Ward; maternal Grandmother, Sheila White; Maternal Grandfather, M. Wayne Carper; paternal Grandparents James and Mildred Ward, Sr.; a niece, Mackenzie Ward, all of Covington, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. In accordance with Jamie's wishes, his body will be cremated following the visitation.
