Dorothy Tucker Tucker, 75, of 6610 Bens Run Road, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1932 at Clarney, West Virginia ,a daughter of the late Mertt P. and Sophie Tucker. Mrs. Tucker was a retired nursing assistant and was employed by the former Taylor Nursing Home in Clifton Forge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Tucker and also by one brother and two sisters. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Capps of Easley SC; Sandra Trucker and Josephine Brookman and her husband, William all of Covington; two sons, Jesse J. Tucker Jr. and his wife Rita and Michael W. Tucker and his wife Pat all of Covington; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one brother, Mertt P "Buddy Tucker Jr., of Corpus Christi, TX . The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday morning in the Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earwood officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mike Fisher. The interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home.
