REV. JIM MENEFEE Rev. James Edward Menefee, 47, of 621 Addams Street died Saturday, February 16, 2013. Rev. Menefee was born November 2, 1965, in Oak Hill, WV, a son of Rev. William and Rebecca Owens Menefee of Oak Hill WV. He was a graduate of Piedmont Bible College and received his Masters Degree from Lancaster Bible College. He served as the Associate Pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC, from 1989 to 1992. For the past twenty years he has been the Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Covington. Surviving are his Wife of 23 years, Michelle Darnell Menefee of Covington; his Sister and Brother-in-law, Betty and Jay Saye of Richmond; his Brother and Sister-in-law, Bill and Caroline Rainey of Charleston, WV, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Information The family suggests that donations in Pastor Jim's name be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Missionary Fund to honor his passion for mission work.
