Edward Frankie Lesher, 75, of 124 Hallies Drive died Tuesday, January 7, 2020. At Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital in LowMoor.
Mr. Lesher was born December 9, 1944, in Raleigh County, West Virginia, a son of the late Lonzo Franklin Lesher and Alifair Webb Lesher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ford Lesher, in 1998 and also by three brothers and two sisters.
He had retired in 2007 from the Digester Room at MeadWestvaco after 45 years with the company. He was a former member and Governor of Covington Lodge #610, Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his Wife, Patricia Kincaid Lesher, of Covington; one Son and Daughter-in-law, Edward F. and Donna Lesher, of Covington; two Daughters and Sons-in-law, Cynthia and Steve Quantz of Covington and Wenna and Michael Wieford of Clifton Forge; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three Sisters, Evelyn O’Neal of Moundsville, WV, Martha Gill of Winston-Salem, NC, and Leona Weatherford of Beckley, WV; a number of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Chipper Cale.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 10, 2020, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with Rev. James. Parker officiating.
Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that donations in Mr. Lesher’s name be made to the American Cancer Society; 1700 McCorkle Ave SE; Charleston, WV 25314.
