That corner at Lexington and Fudge (many, many years ago) being next door neighbors with Toots and Curtis. We all would just have the best times back in the day.

My sincere prayers and condolences. Lee Wayne was always there for his entire family and loved talking about his grand and great-grand children which he was proud of all of them. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life. I do miss having him as my partner when I was driving the church van. With Love to you all. God bless you and God be with you.

Family: Our prayers are with you. May the Peace of the Lord be upon you with the kind of healing only He can provide. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. Stay encouraged and keep the faith, God will carry you through this. Lee Wayne will be missed dearly. Praise the Lord, that we were able to have him here as long as we did. Stay Strong in the Lord, and God Bless all of you. We Love you. Betty Graves and Family

There are people who we 'hope' love us. Then there are those we 'know' love us. I had such pleasure in Lee Wayne. He never passed up the opportunity to show his love toward me. I count that a jewel in my life. I must admit, here, and wish he could have known the great mistake I made about him. He was so humble, so kind, so courteous, and so young looking, I always assumed he was at least ten years my junior. It is with great surprise I see he was much older than me. I will laugh with him about that when we meet again. I am thankful for having come to know you all, and trust you know Him who is able to sustain us in times as these. Weeping will last a while, but will be overtaken by all the fond memories of your wonderful one, who has only stepped a breath away, waiting for our coming to him.

Holloway Family, I'd like to express my condolences to you all at this saddened time for you. I had the opportunity to visit with Lee Wayne at LewisGale. He was always in good spirits despite his illness. He didn't dwell on his discomfort. And in my last visit (on Wednesday) he talked about his family--his boys, his grandchildren, Nikki and her husband. He said that Vannie had just stepped out for lunch and should be back soon, as she walked into the room. At that point, he had accounted for his immediate family. He said that he had been blessed! Last of all, he asked about his good friend Curtis Stewart, wishing him well..

To my family I was so hurt when I heard about the passing of Lee Wayne. He was a great man and when my grandson was sick he always called and checked on him. My grandson loved to stop by and say hello to Mr. Holloway, but when he passed away, Lee Wayne always had an inspirational thing to say about him. I know that Lee Wayne is smiling , he is up there in Heaven and he gets to see Naeshawn and the rest of his loved ones. We loved Lee Wayne he will be truly be missed. Sending our love and Prayers to you all.
