Joy and Family - My heart is saddened at your loss. I have such fond memories of Parker Jr when attending Moss Run Baptist Church. Your entire family was such a huge part of the love, laughter and leadership in the 'little church' and then when the present building was built. May God ease your heart from the loss, and fill with peace knowing that he is not suffering any longer and is in the presence of God our Father. I pray that God wraps his arms around you and your family and provides strength and comfort in the days to come, knowing that one day there will be a wonderful 'Tingler Reunion' in Heaven.

Joy and family, As I read the obituary, memories fill my heart - my youth at Moss Run Baptist Church so many years ago. I always loved and respected you and your family as examples in your faith and in your community. We will all be reunited in heaven and what a glorious day that will be - our "Moss Run" family! With love......

Never forget the first 4 wheel drive we were ever able to get was from our friend Parker! How excited we were in 1995 to get our green and white 1978 Ford Bronco. What a wonderful memory and many more were made through the years buying several other cars from him. He and Joy are good people. Heaven has another angel. Love you Joy!!

In life, there are certain people that when you look back, made a positive impact on you. Parker was one of those people....Always humble , always polite, a real gentleman. We sometimes talked for an hour or so in the Car Shop despite his busy schedule. We talked about antiques, God and of course being a business owner. I will always look back and have the fondest memories of this truly wonderful man, a man I could honestly say was a friend to me......Love you...................

Mr. Tingler was such a nice man and will no doubt be missed. I had the privilege of mowing he and his father's lawns when I was in high school - both great people. Thoughts and prayers for the family as they go through this difficult time.

My heart is sadden that we have lost another good man in this community. I brought all my vehicles from him especialy while Demetrius(my son) was in college. His granddaughter was in college at Liberty University at the same time. I never forget how nervous and uncertain about her leaving and attending college. He loved and spoke of his granchildren often. Parker was a caring man that cared about the community. On behalf of my family especially my son, we offer our condolences to Mrs Joy and the family. God needed another angel. The Car Shop will never be the same!
