RAY PETERS Wilbur Ray Peters, 60, of 110 Mount Pleasant Drive, died. Thursday , June 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 1, 1951 In Alleghany County, a son of the late Wilbur Franklin and Elvira Collins Peters. Ray had been a logger in the area for all of his life and was retired from Peters' Logging. He was a member of the Church of God in Altamont. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Collins. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Peters of Covington; one daughter, Roberta Davenport and her husband, Mike of Covington; one son, Ron Smith and his wife Stacey of Covington; four grandchildren; Skyler Doyle; Tyler Doyle Katie Smith and Chyenne Smith all of Covington; one brother, Larry Peters and his wife Birdena of Covington and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
