Lizzie Addie Hosey, 69, of 100 Nicholas Drive, Clifton Forge, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor. Ms. Hosey was formerly of Magazine Street in Covington. Lizzie was born February 1, 1941, in Millboro, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen McAllister Hosey. Ms. Hosey was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Covington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Hosey and M.C. Hosey. Surviving are her five sons, Thomas Hosey and his wife, Tammy, of Selinsgrove, PA; Billy Hosey and his wife, Pam, of Clifton Forge; Richard Hosey of North Carolina; John Allen Hosey of Harrisonburg and Jimmy Hosey of Charlottesville; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister , Sandra Ford of Harrisonburg; her uncle, Frank McAllister and his wife, Barbara, of Millboro and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM , May 17, 2010 at the graveside in the Millboro Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Snider officiating. The family will receive their friends at Arritt Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday.
