Ruth Wiley Firebaugh, 88 of 202 W. Persinger Street, went to be with her Lord and Suviour on Sunday, January 11. 2009 at the Brian Center in Low Moor. She was born April 27, 1920 at North Fork in Botetourt County, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Taylor WIley. Mrs. Firebaugh was a member of Grace Brethren Church and attended Faith Baptist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Firebaugh was preceded in death by her husband Fred G. Firebaugh in 1988 and also by six sisters and one brother. Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Brenda and Jay Lockhart of Covington; one son, Freddie Jerome Firebaugh of Danville; one grandson, Rev Dr. Jay Firebaugh and his wife, Janet of Gahanna, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Joanna Firebaugh of Shawnee, OK and Joel Gahanna, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
