BARBARA MENEFEE Barbara Fountain Menefee, 68, of 1534 S. Greenlawn Ave, died, Sunday , March 17, 2013 at Lewis Gale - Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. She was born July 9, 1944 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late William Fountain and Francis Helmintoller Profitt. Mrs. Menefee retired as a Grill Cook at the Covington Wal Mart. She was a member of the New Life Church of God on Dolly Ann Drive. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan "Pete" Menifee in 2010. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Sam Arrington of Covington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Sue Menefee of Covington and Ray and Crystal Menefee of Eagle Rock; three grandchildren, Nate Menefee; Justin Menefee and Sara Arrington, all of Covington; three brothers, Frank Profitt and Carson Profitt and his wife Vicky, all of Covington and David Fountain of Greenville, TN and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Mrs. Menefee's wishes, her body has been cremated. Memorial Information Memorial donations in Mrs. Menefee's name may be made to the New Life Church of God, 1149 Dolly Ann Drive, Covington, VA 24426.

So Shocked, Mary (Angie) we grew up together and she was always a bright spot in my life, had not talked to her for a couple months. We always had fun in whatever we were doing. Prayers for the family, she loved her family so much. Love You My Dear Friend will never forget all our good times.
