CORNELIA LOWMAN Cornelia Agnor Lowman, 90, of 1923 S. Lee Ave., died, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 27, 1921 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Alfred Boyd Agnor and Suzie Smith Agnor. Mrs. Lowman was a former employee of the Industrial Rayon Corp. in Covington and H,O. Canfield , Inc. in Iron Gate. She attended Corner Stone Church of God of Prophecy on Lexington Street. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John D. Lowman , Jr. in 1982 and also by three sisters, Evelyn Scruggs, Katherine Meeks and Emily Saul. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Rev. John Dudley Lowman of Covington; one granddaughter, Kathy "Kitten" Bland and her husband Joe of Richmond; two grandson, J.D. Lowman III and his wife, Colleen of Berkley Springs, WV and Eric Lowman and his wife Cindy of Winchester; one sister Maxine Williams of Covington; several nieces and nephews, including Connie Daily of Ocotillo, CA ; Robbie Scruggs and Gary Scruggs whom she raised in her home. . The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. Memorial Information Memorial donations may be made to either Corner Stone Church of God of Prophecy, 1262 S.
