Robert Leonard " June" Angle, 79, of 8150 Rich Patch Road, died, early, Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge after extended illness.
He was born November 22, 1928 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Winfred J. "Doodle" and Mary Grzyb Angle.
Mr. Angle served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Mizzy, Inc. in Iron Gate. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish , camp and enjoyed his dogs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Angle a sister, Nellie Honaker.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Clo Loving Angle of Covington; four sons, Bobby Angle and his wife, Michelle of Covington; Ricky Angle of Covington; Ronnie Angle and Faye Shifflett of Elton and Tony Angle and his wife, Jeanette of Clifton Forge; one daughter, Norma Lowe and her husband, David of Clifton Forge; eleven grandchildren ; four great grandchildren; five sisters, Alice Mirando an her husband, Mark of Centerville; Catherine Higgins and her husband, Eddie of Clifton Forge; Stella Cale, Patsy Cale and her husband, Donnie and Debbie Dolan and her husband, Mike all of Covington; five brothers, John Angle and Joe Angle , both of Low Moor; Mike Angle and his wife, Juanita of Eagle Rock; Melvin Angle and his wife, Ann of Clarksville, TN and Lee Roy Angle and his wife, Carol Ann of Clifton Forge and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel.
The interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The funeral service will be Peter Dietz, Ronnie Angle, Jr., Justin Lipes, Corey Angle, Jerry McCulley and George McCulley. Alternate pallbearers will be David Lowe, Jr.

Friends may pay their respects anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends Sunday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
