Ernest Berkley Sizemore, 78, formerly of Roxbury Street, Clifton Forge, died Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Alleghany Health and Rehab in Clifton Forge. He was born July 17, 1939, in Front Royal, a son of the late Floyd B. and Lucy Mary Cline Sizemore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Daughter, Jerri Lee Sizemore, and two Brothers, Doug Sizemore and Leroy Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore served during the Korean War with the United States Army. He was a retired self-employed painter. Mr. Sizemore was a member of the Solid Rock Ministries congregation. Surviving are his daughter, Pamela Sizemore, of Nicholasville, KY; two granddaughters, Frances Downs of Harrodsburg, KY and Christina Gilpin of Dallas, TX; three grandsons, Jason Sizemore of Jacksonville, FL, and Carl McKinney and David Gilpin both of Oregon; two great grandchildren; one step-daughter, Rita McKinney, of Kentucky and one Step-Son, Paul McKinney, of Colorado; one Brother, Jimmy Sizemore, of Baltimore, MD, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Solid Rock Ministries Church with Rev. Pam Irvine officiating assisted by Rev. Charles Feury.
