WALTER PERSINGER Walter Lyndell Persinger, 61, of Lynchburg died Friday, October 23, 2009 in Lynchburg General Hospital. Mr. Persinger was born September 19, 1948, in Covington a son of the late William and Mary Anna Thompson Persinger. Surviving are four Sisters, Ruby Trammell, Phyllis Persinger and Marie Finley, all of Washington, DC, and Judy Persinger of Arlington. The funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Thomas S. Simmons officiating. Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from friends attending the service. The family will receive their friends Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time at Arritt Funeral Home.
