Scharlotta Gardner Scharlotta Gardner, 80, of Lewisburg, WV, died, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Brian Center in Low Moor, VA. She was born May 13, 1930 in Lewisburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Bons Morgan and Sallie Katherine Gardener Smoot. Ms Gardner was a cook at the Clingman's Market in Lewisburg for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Tillman, Greta Smoot and Clemetine Smoot and also by three brothers, Ernest Gardner, Sonny Gardner and Carlos Judson Smoot. Surviving are one son, Jerome Crump of San Diego, CA ; a brother, Mason Smoot of Elizabethtown, KY ; a number of nieces and nephews , including, Tonya Lynn Williams of Baltimore, MD and a special friend, Margaret Coleman of Lewisburg. In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Gardner's body has been donated to Medical Science.
