G. O. CAMPBELL Gary Osburn "G.O." Campbell, 59 of 111 Dunlap Beach Lane, died, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital. He was born September 7, 1952 in Hot Springs, a son of the Mary Miller Campbell of Covington. Gary Served his county with the United States navy. He was employed by MeadWestVaco for 35 years and was currently a roll inspector on the # 2 paper machine. He was a proud father and grandfather. Gary enjoyed home remodeling; gardening. being outside and loved his truck. He was preceded in death by his father Osburn "Ozzie" Campbell and also by a grandson Andrew Ginart in 2006. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamulla Murphy -Campbell of Covington; one son, Charles Murphy of Covington; five daughters, Crystal Palella - Long and her husband Daniel ; Wendy Campbell-Montgomery and her husband Wayne; Jessica Palella ; Heather Wolfe and Steven Gibson , all of Covington and Susan Rohr and her husband Bob of Alliance, OH; 22 grandchildren ; 1 great grandchild; three brothers, Dennis L. Campbell of Covington ; Wesley S. Campbell and Jody Campbell and his wife Nadine of Hot Springs; a special friend and brother in law, Tony Murphy of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, G.O.'s body will be cremated following the service.
