John Alan Citro, 61, of 1315 Potts Creek Road passed away this morning, December 5, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge following a long illness. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force. He had retired as a computer customer engineer with Industrial Maintenance Service, contractor for MeadWestvaco, in the Covington mill. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of Covington; his mother, Hazel Citro, of Kalamazoo, MI; his sister, Rhonda Hiser and her husband, Robert of Bellville, Ohio; and their children, Phil, Jacob, and Melanie Mannon, her husband Joe and daughter Madison, pat's son Stephen McNaughton and his wife, Noreen Marriott, his granddaughter Courtney McNaughton and her mother Heidi McNaughton. In accordance with his wishes, John's body has been cremated. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
