CHESSIE BOGAR Cheesie Jones Bogar, 91, died Saturday, May 25, 2012 at The Woodlands in Clifton Forge. She was a former resident of Jonestown Road on Potts Creek. Mrs. Bogar was born October 14, 1921 In Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Cecil Jones and Mary Kimberlin Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Hayslett "Hazel" Bogar in 2004 and by her step-Mother, Cindy Wright Jones ; two grandsons, one great grandson; three daughters-in-law; one sister and five brothers. Mrs. Bogar had retired in 1987 as a presser for the former Halmode, Inc in Covington. Surviving are three daughters, Linda Bowles and her Husband, Nelson and Barbara Dawson, all of Eagle Rock and Betty Taylor and her husband Danny of Roanoke; Three sons, Garland Bogar of Montpelier; Marvin Bogar of Richmond and David BOgar of Ashland; 13 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren , nieces and nephews. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.
