Marvin Smith, 87, departed this earthly life on June 13, 2016. He was born in South Boston Virginia, on November 1, 1928. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his Aunt Mary who raised him, his beloved wife, Eva Jeanne Smith, and a loving daughter, Mildred Vauda Smith. Surviving are two Sons, William Richard Smith and his Wife, Ginger Ellen Smith, and Marvin David Smith, Sr.; one Daughter, Amy Jean Green and her Husband, Timothy Green; twelve grandchildren. Heather, Brandy, Candi, David Smith, Jr., D.J., Dustin, Hannah, John, Jacob, Heather, and Jon and 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held June 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Elk Garden Church of God, at 3 Oak St. Elk Garden, WV 26717. The family will receive their friends Wednesday June 22, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the daughter's residence at 630 E. Princeton St. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Smith's name to the Mountain Regional Hospice at P.O. Box 637 Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
