CHRIS GARRETT Christopher Duane " Cornbread" Garrett, 42, of Wirtz, died, Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born March 17, 1970 in Clifton Forge, a son of Nancy Schooler Nicely of Covington and the late Albert N. Garrett. Chris was employed by J & S Carpentry in Roanoke as a painter. He was preceded in death by his companion and best friend, Donna Divers In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, Danny McCulley, Sr, of Covington; his two sons, Grayson Dubois and Ethan Dubois, both of Elliston ; his daughter, Christina Dawn Garrett of Boones Mill; two brothers, James Garrett and his wife, Sarah of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Robert Garrett of Roanoke; two sisters, Connie Martin and her husband, Jack, of Union, WV, and Monica Garrett of Aberdeen, MD and several nieces and nephews. The interment will follow in Hokes Chapel Cemetery.
