BLANCHE GAUTIER Blanche Harry Gautier, 84, of 909 S. Alleghany Avenue, died, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 24, 1926 in Waitville, WV, a daughter of the late Pete and Annie Davis Harry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus G. Gautier in November 2001. Surviving are four daughters, Charlotte Martin and her husband, Gerald of Covington; Sabrina DesMarias and her husband Richard of Prescott Valley, AZ; Michelle Simmons of Roanoke and Nancy Clark of Lewisburg; one son, Rufus Gautier, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Sedalia, MO; 22 Grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley Miller of GA; Opal Lawson of Pearisburg; Betty Stoddard of New Castle and Gladys Givens of Narrows; four brothers, Larry Harry and Billy Harry, both of Narrows; Willard Harry of Pearisburg and Arnold Harry of New Castle and a number of nieces and nephews. The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will Scott Martin, Mike Martin, Jimmy Simmons, Brandon Simmons, Jerad Gautier and Steven Clark.
