Jeffery Scott Lewis, 60, of Gap Mills, WV, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV . Mr. Lewis was born February 22, 1958, in Alleghany County a son of Melissa Griffith Lewis of Myrtle Beach, SC, and the late James W. "Bill" Lewis. He had retired as an insulator with Kirby-Cundiff Insulation Co. and was a member of Palestine Chapel Presbyterian Church. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his Wife, Joy Mentz Lewis, of Sweet Springs, WV; one Son; one grandson, Justin Lewis of Hopewell and Ethan Callison; one Daughter, Jessica Callison and her Husband, Chris, of Statesville, NC; three Brothers, Richard Lewis and his Wife, Debbie, of MD, James "BooBoo" Lewis and Bryant Lewis, both of Covington and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will be made in Palestine Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday at Arritt Funeral Home.
