DONALD KIMBERLIN Donald Leon Kimberlin, 67, of 5010 Indian Draft Road, died, Tuesday July 14, 2009 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1941 in Alleghany County, a son the late Lora May Bess Kimberlin. Mr. Kimberlin retired in 2004 as the owner and operator of Don's Floor Service with over 40 years in the flooring business. He was a former baseball coach for the Covingotn Little League for a number of years. Don was an avid hunter and fisherman for all of his life. In to his mother, Donald was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Kimberlin and one sister, Celia Hooker. Surviving is wife of 45 years, Myrtle Smith Kimberlin of Covington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Alesia Kimberlin and Darrell and Dawn Kimberlin, all of Covington; two daughters, Donna and Kevin Paxton of Covington and Lori and Mark Leatherman of Harrisonburg; eight grandchildren, Jessica and Jason Scruggs, Joshua Kimblerlin and fianc Emily Graham; Justin Paxton; Courtney Paxton; Blake Kimberlin; Makenzie Kimberlin; Emma Grace Leatherman and Ellie Leatherman ; three brothers, George Kimblerlin of Covington; Wallace Kimberlin of Akron, Ohio and Leo Kimberlin of Woodbridge and one sister Louise May of Reston and several nieces and nephews and his beloved Chihuahua Jake. The funeral service will be held be held 2:00 PM Friday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Lee Kimberlin and the Rev. William Robertson officiating. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends Thursday evening July 16, 2009 at 7:00 until 8:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home.
