Lillian "Ilene" Tucker Smith, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at her residence Saturday July 30, 2022. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Cliffdale Church of God of Prophecy. She spent many years as a seamstress for Halmode and Jane Colby sewing factories. Mrs. Smith loved a good laugh and to joke with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and always remained strong in her faith. But, most of all she loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. smith was proceeded in death by her husband the love of her life, Wandell "Toad" Smith; her daughter Norma "Norm" Tucker; her parents McKinley and Della Tucker; a special niece Carol Wright; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one son Charles "Alfred" Smith (Valerie); one daughter Sandy Wright (Timmy); one son in law Lee Tucker; nine grandchildren Robert Smith(Michelle), Tracy Smith(Miranda), Amanda Bailey (Lacy), Ryan Smith (Kayla), Ashley Gillispie (Casey), Derrick Wright, Errick Wright (Hope), Ellen Irvin (Jimmy), Michaela Tucker (Ty), 24 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; one sister Pheobe Albright (Joe) and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be on Wednesday August 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with Charles "Alfred" Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery.
