TOBY BRACKENRIDGE Toby Lawson Brackenridge , 64, of Roanoke and formerly of Covington, died, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Roanoke. He was born July 2, 1947 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Davis Brackenridge and Marie Wirt Evans. In addition to his parents Toby was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles, including Elmer Ray Wirt. Surviving are three daughters, Helen Brackenridge of Waynesboro; Katie Renee Brackenridge of West Virginia and Michelle Tillman of Covington; one sister and brother- in-law, Brenda and Jack Williford of Seymour, TN; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Bertha Brackenridge of Clifton Forge and several cousins. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
