WILLIAM McGUIRE William Henry McGuire, Jr, 80, of 413 E. Gordon Street, died, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born January 21, 1932 in Lawrence , KY, a son of the late William H. McGuire, Sr. and Herma Jones McGuire. Mr. McGuire retired as the General Manager in the Mechanics Shop for CSX. He was a member of Parrish Court United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men's. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister and one brother. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Bonnie Thomas McGuire of Covington; four sons, William McGuire III and his wife Rose of Roanoke; Tony McGuire and his wife Kerry of Liveston, NJ; Patrick McGuire of Atlanta, GA and Mark McGuire and his wife Tara of Forest; six grandchildren; six sisters, In keeping with Mr. McGuire's wishes , his body has been cremated.
