Quintin Harvey Walker, Sr., 59, of 533 Roxbury Street in Clifton Forge died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Lewis Gale -Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg.
Mr. Walker was born January 4, 1962, in Clifton Forge, a son of the late Sterling H. and Dorothy Vest Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Fagg; two grandchildren, Daniel Walker and Emma Walker and an infant brother and infant sister.
He was a truck driver for all his life, he worked Garten Trucking and was an avid classic car enthusiast. He was member of Clifton Forge Baptist Church where he served a deacon.
Surviving are his Wife, Kelly Broughman Walker, of Clifton Forge; one Son, Quintin Walker, Jr., and his partner, Melissa Meadows, of Clifton Forge; a Daughter, Stormy Walker, of Covington; a Son, Jonathan Huguley, Jr., of Glen Wilton; a Daughter, Whitney Via, and her Husband, Jason, of Glen Wilton; three Sisters, Brenda Watson and Teresa Coffey, both of Clifton Forge and Melinda Barr and her Husband, Steven, of Eagle Rock; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Walker, Destiny Walker, Elektra Walker, Michael Walker, Skylia Mace, Autumn Mace, Hunter Huguley, Brentley Via, and Mason Via and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Clifton Forge Baptist Church with Chris Fishier officiating.
Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.

To the Walker family, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Quintin was my classmate at CFHS. He was a nice guy. I remember the last time I talked to him in person was at our class reunion in 1980 or 81. He loved to drive trucks. Remember he is resting in Jesus arms. We will be praying for the family.
