Peggy Cook Brookman, 56, of 6102 Potts Creek Rd., died, Sunday June 18, 2017, at her residence. She was born July 10, 1960, a daughter of Larre Walton Cook of Covington and the late John Albert Cook, Sr. Mrs. Brookman was a member of the Mill Branch Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her Husband, Ricky Brookman, of Covington; one son, Randy Paxton, Sr. of Greenville, TN; one step daughter Christy Lanahan of Clifton Forge; two step sons, Ricky Brookman, Jr. and Robert W. Brookman, both of Covington; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; four sisters, Virginia Shinault and her husband, Ernest ; Sharon Kirk; Sheila Cook and Dianne Ward and her husband, Frank , all of Covington; one brother, John A. Cook, Jr. of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Brookman, James Brookman, Mitchell Brookman, Randy Paxton, Allen Cook and Albert Cook.
