DOROTHY ARMENTROUT Dorothy Craig Drummond Armentrout, 91, of Covington died. Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Brian Center Nursing Center in Low Moor. A daughter of the late Roy "Jake" and Pearl Dudding Drummond. Mrs. Armentrout was born January 27, 1921 in Monroe County, West Virginia She enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her family, and being a seamstress. As a member of Grace Brethren Church, Mrs. Armentrout faithfully taught children's classes for over 50 years. She had many cherished friends and was a caregiver and grandmother to many children in the community. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Armentrout was preceded in death by her husband , Norman Gilbert Armentrout in 1991, by one sister, Lessie Smith), and by four brothers, Harley Drummond, Tom Drummond, Douglas "Duck" Drummond, and Bob Drummond. Survivors include her two daughters Cindy Hyder and her husband George of Annandale, VA and Patti Taylor and her husband Steve of Aiken, SC, six grandchildren, Jamie Hyder of Los Angeles, CA, Callie Hyder of Annandale, VA
