Joseph Michael (Joe) Arrington, 62, of Roanoke, and formerly of Rich Patch in Alleghany County, died, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1950 , a son of the late James L. and Agnes Gilbert Arrington. In addition of his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Felicita. He was an employee of the Advance Auto Warehouse in Roanoke. Surviving are his wife, Penny Allis Arrington of Roanoke; three sons, James Arrington and his wife Sarah of Covington ;Wesley Arrington and his wife Crystal of Roanoke and Keith Felicita of Roanoke; three daughters, Crystal Fridley and her husband, Scottie of Covington; Kathie Catterlin and her husband John of Roanoke and Alisa Felicita of Sarasota, FL; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Donnie Arrington and his wife Joyce and Doug Arrington and his wife Donna , all of Covington; one sister, Sandy Shawver and her husband Donald of Covington and a number nieces and nephews. The interment will follow in Persinger Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM Thursday evening at the Arritt Funeral Home.
