Linda T. May, 72, of Hot Springs passed away at Lewis Gale Medical Center on Monday, October 2, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1945 and was married to Tommy May, Jr. for 53 years. She worked in the Homestead Dining Room and the Cascade Inn until she retired in 1996. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Robert J. and Ina Wolf Trimble, and brother Bobby Trimble and his wife Charlotte. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Tommy May Jr., of Hot Springs; daughter Pamela May Hensley and husband Tony, of Hot Springs; son Tim May and wife Twila, of Hot Springs; grandchildren Meagan May, of Floyd, VA, Michael Brandon May, of Covington, VA, and Amber May, of Hot Springs; and many close neighbors, friends and extended family. She was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church. She loved cooking and made the best macaroni & cheese and homemade rolls in all of Bath County! In lieu of flowers, Linda requested memorial donations be made to Doris Via Cancer Fund, P.O Box 174, Hot Springs, VA 24445. Cards of condolence may be sent to Tommy May, 64 Carloover Village Drive, Hot Springs, VA 24445. At Linda's request, there will be no formal services. However the family would love to receive friends on Sunday, October 8th from 2pm to 5pm at the home of Pam and Tony Hensley located at 42 Routier Hill Rd, Hot Springs.
