Daniel Fray Hepler, 93, of 1408 Bennettown Road died Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Woodlands Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge. Mr. Hepler was born December 29, 1923, in Alleghany County a son of the late Charles Guff Hepler and Nora Bennett Hepler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife, Myrtle Tucker Hepler, in 2008, and also by five Brothers, James Hepler, Tommy Hepler, Wilbur Hepler, Allen Hepler and Elmer Hepler and one Sister, Dorothy Newcomb. He was a longtime member of Lone Star Baptist Church. Surviving are three Sisters-in-law, Ruth Hepler and Dorothy Hepler, both of Covington and Norma Hepler of Evansdale, Iowa, and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earwood officiating. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.
