Christine Bernice Tingler Schettino, 83, formerly of 238 E. Gray St., died, Friday May 24, 2019, at the Brian Center in Low Moor. Mrs. Schettino was born September 2, 1935, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Lecky and Emma Kimberlin Tingler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Schettino, in 2001. Christine retired as a press operator/ inspector for the Harvey Hubbell Plastic Company in New Town, CT. She was a member of the Midway Christian Church and loved gardening and going to yard sales and flea markets. Surviving are her companion, Rodney "Joe" Smith Sr., of Covington; her son, Stan Walker, of Ohio, and her daughter, Elizabeth Walker, of Connecticut. In keep with her wishes her body has been cremated. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
