EDDIE MILLER William Edward Miller, 64, of 403 Lauren Kay Lane, died, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. He was born July 4, 1947 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Maynard Miller and Irene Plott Miller. Mr. Miller served with the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. He retired as a self employed logger. In his spare time William loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He was a diehard Redskins fan and a big follower of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in NASCAR racing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Overton Miller in 1992; one brother, Barry Miller and one sister, Rosie Wolfe. Surviving are one son and daughter in law, Michael and wife Missy Jackson of Covington; two daughters, Trish Miller and Timmy Tucker of Covington and Samantha Romanello of Covington; Christie Jackson-Tucker and her husband, James , all of Covington; two sisters, Connie Taylor and husband, Ernie of Low Moor; and Diane Ryan of Covington; six brothers, Ellis Miller and wife Judy; Johnny Miller and wife Marion; Stevie Miller and wife Hattie and Phillip Miller , all of Covington; Jimmy Miller of NC and Timmy Miller and wife Debbie of New Castle. Six grandchildren including Katie Romanello who was Mr. Miller's care taker along with her Mother, Samantha; a special friend, Brenda Overton and a number of nieces and nephews. The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
