WILLIAM HALSEY William Marcus Halsey, 52, of 213 E. Pine Street , died, February 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1960 in Alleghany County, a son of George W. Halsey, Sr. and Virginia Crawford Halsey of Covington. In addition t his parents, William is survived by three brothers and sisters - in-law, David and Billiejo Halsey of Clifton Forge; Larry and Janice Halsey and George Halsey, Jr. and Clarice, all of Covington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and William Young of Blacksburg and Nicole and Robert Fenderson of Roanoke and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 3:00 Friday, February 15, 2013 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Halsey officiating. The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at the Arritt Funeral Home on Friday.
