Lillie Persinger Jamison of 3300 Jamison Mountain, died Thursday November 24, 2016 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital on Low Moor. She was born in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late George Lee Persinger and Melissa Susan Persinger Persinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Jamison, in 2002, a grandson Charles "Curt" Jamison in 1987, a son-in-law, Jerry Wolfe, in 2003 and 8 sisters and 3 brothers. Mrs. Jamison was life long member of Cliffdale Christian Church where she was the Ladies Sunday School teacher for many years and loved singing in the choir. She loved her church, her family and many friends. Surviving are one son, Charles Jamison, and his wife, Debbie, of Covington; three daughters, Judy Pritt and Betty Wolfe, both of Covington and Nancy May and her husband, Jerry, of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Donna Keyser and her husband, Ronnie; Lisa Helton and her husband, Howard; Steven Pritt and his wife, Dana; Timmy Wolfe and his wife, Anita, and Mark Wolfe; a step granddaughter, Lisa Bene' and her husband, Scott; great grandchildren, Miranda Keyser, Madison Keyser, Jordan Helton, Samuel Helton, Ashley Kievit; a step great granddaughter Kassi Dadufalza, great granddaughter Sarrarie Kievit and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Christian officiating. Entombment will be made in the Alleghany Memorial Park Mausoleum. Active pallbearers will be Mark Wolfe, Timmy Wolfe, Ronnie Keyser, Howard Helton, Jordan Helton, Samuel Helton, Steven Pritt and Faron Stull. The family will receive their friends Saturday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at Arritt Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorial donations in Mrs. Jamison's name be made to Boiling Springs Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 5407 Potts creek Rd., Covington, VA 24426.
