David Allen Wolfe, 61, of Covington died Monday, August 6, 2018, at Alleghany Health and Rehab in Clifton Forge. Mr. Wolfe was born November 5, 1956, in Bath County a son of Frankie Wolfe of Warm Springs and Claudia Wolfe of Stuarts Draft. He had retired from Westrock, Inc. in 2012 as an Operator on #1 and #2 paper machines. He was a member of the former Odd Fellows Hunt Club and enjoyed hunting and canoeing. Surviving in addition to his parents are his Son, Bryan Scott Wolfe, of Covington; two Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Jeannie and Keith Simpson, of Clifton Forge and Sharon and Tony Sprouse, of Waynesboro; several nieces and nephews; the Mother of his Son, Carol Walton, of Roanoke and his former Mother-in-law, Jean Scott, of Covington. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 10, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
