Richard Franklin Tingler, 32, of Salem, formerly Covington, died, Monday, March 22, 2021. Mr. Tingler was born April 7, 1988, in Roanoke the son of Malinda S. Aliff of Roanoke and Richard E. Tingler and friend Laura Wilson of Covington. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Trysta Holland Tingler, of Salem; his son, Damien Tingler, of MD, his brother, Ben Drewry, of Roanoke, two step sons Jacob and Steven; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 1:00 PM in Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Pam Irvine officiating. The family will gather at Arritt Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30. Arrangements are being handle by Arritt Funeral Home.
