HELEN KING Helen Leona Burks King, 84, of 913 N. Alleghany Ave., died, Thrusday, November 8, 2012 at The Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge, Mrs. King was born June 10, 1928 in Fayette County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harry and Rosie Tiffany Burks. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where she had been a Church Mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, John Glenn King in 1982; a son, Charles Burks; a sister, Florence Davis and a brother, Russell Burks. Surviving are two daughters, Evangelist Gloria Triplett and her husband, Vaughie and Shelia King, all of Covington; two sons, David King and his wife Shirley of Hampton and Glenn King of Covington; 15 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a niece, Betty Booker and her husband, Billy of Covington and numerous cousins. The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
