Virginia Plymale Vail, 90, died Thursday night, August 19, 2010, in the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Fairlea, West Virginia. She was formerly a resident of Callaghan Circle in Covington for most of her life. Mrs. Vail was born October 4, 1919, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late William Edward and May Wright Plymale. She was a member of Fletcher Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Vail in 1999, and also by four sisters, Lillian Nida Hubbard, Mattie Lockhart, Ethel Andrews, and LeeAnna Evans and three brothers, Howard Plymale, Richard Plymale and Clarence "Bill" Plymale. Surviving are two Sons, Perry Vail and Allene Baker and Wayne and Patty Vail all of Covington; one Daughter, Barbara Berry and her Husband, Gary, of Stafford; nine grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
