We didn’t always see eye to eye but we always managed to laugh about it later. You were a great brother. You were also a awesome step dad to Nikki and Jr. And a super grandfather and great grandfather. I’m so glad I got to talk to you one last time❤️ I love you and will miss you. RIP

We had the pleasure of meeting Dontae at the wrestling tournaments. Our grandson Tyson started his Jr year and Dontae was a true inspiration to Tyson. He was always cheering on any teammate who was getting ready to hit the mat and he was always there when the match was over telling them good job whether they won or lost. I don't think I ever saw him that he didn't speak. He was a true blessing to anyone he ever met and I know Tyson will always have a special angel watching over him. RIP Dontae
