Howard Franklin Browning, Sr., age 94, of Springs Nursing Center Hot Springs died Sunday, December 23, 2018. He was born September 11, 1924, in Alleghany County a son of the late John Henry Browning and Eathie Gaines Browning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Browning was a retired self-employed timber cutter. Surviving are his Son, Howard F. Browning, Jr., and his wife, Wendy, of Covington; twelve grandchildren, Ginger Browning, Frankie Browning, Misty Browning, Marie Browning, Ashley Browning, John Browning, Jesse Browning, Angel Browning, Bubbie Browning, Cheyenne Browning , R. J. Browning and Jacob Kress all of Covington; three great grandchildren, Korbin Browning, Nevaeh Browning and Mason Browning all of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the graveside in Lone Star Cemetery with Rev. David Brown officiating.
