Mary Lockhart Wolfe, 85, of 107 Parsonage Lane died Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Wolfe was born June 25, 1933, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Roy and Pearl Crowder Lockhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Stanford J. Wolfe, in June of this year; a Son, Jay Wolfe, in 2002, and also by two brothers and one sister. She had retired as a custodian at Boiling Springs Elementary School and was a longtime member of Highland Chapel Christian Church. Surviving are her Son and Daughter-in-law, Darel and Sherry Wolfe, of Covington; her Grandson, Derick Wolfe, of Covington; her Granddaughter, Jeannie Adkins, and her Husband, Alan, of Covington; two great granddaughters, Shanna Adkins and Ashlynn Wolfe, of Covington; two Sisters, Phyllis Burr and Lola Angell and her Husband, Wayne, all of Covington; two Brothers, James "Blue" Lockhart and his Wife, Cheryl, and Gerald Lockhart, all of Covington; three special caregivers, Vinnie Gilbert, Leona Horton and Meg Hicks and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. J. B. Broughman officiating assisted by the Rev. Bill Gilliland. Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Derick Wolfe, Ala Adkins, Eddie Freeman, Mark Nida, Devan Bess and Steve Burr. The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
