LYDA TINGLER
Lyda Earehart Tingler, 81, of Beaver , West Virginia and formerly of Covington, died, Tuesday night, October 28, 2008 at Beckley, West Virginia.
Mrs. Tingler was born August 9, 1927 in Covington, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Juanita Andrews Earehart.
She was a retired owner and operator of the former H & L. Jewelers in Covington. Mrs. Tingler was a member of the Martha Chapter # 9, O.E. S.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tingler was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Womack Tingler in 1986; a son, Steven Tingler in 2006 and also by three brothers, Charles Earehart, Jr., Dillard Earehart and Billy Earehart.
Surviving are three daughters, Susan Brown and her husband, George of Covington; Jackie Nanney and her husband Robert of Covington and Betty Moore and her husband James of Beaver, WV; three sons, Henry W. " Hank" Tingler, Jr. of Covington; Robert Tingler and his wife, "Nanci" of Satellite Beach, Fl and William "Joe" Tingler and his wife, Cheryl of Ormond Beach, FL ; 13 grandchidlren; a number of great grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita and Geroge Hines of Austin, TX; Virginia and Artie Spencer of Covington and Norma Jo Dakos of Fort Myer, FL; two brothers, Howard Earehart and Andy Earehart , both of Beckley, WV and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 2;00 PM Saturday, November 1, 2008 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel.
The interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
Friends may pay their respects anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
