Scarlet Angela Rogers Lowe, 57, of 106 East Pine Street, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, April 3, 2017. Mrs. Lowe was born December 25, 1959, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Curtis and Bertha Bassett Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Sister, Laura Carico, and three Brothers, David Rogers, Eddie Cook and Junior Cook. Surviving are her Daughter, Heather Forbes, and her Husband, Scottie, of Covington; her Son, Jon Green and Brooke Ryder, of Covington; six grandchildren, Nevaeh Forbes, Ethan Forbes, Abrielle Forbes, Boggie Forbes, Bryson Green and Kinlee Green; three Sisters, Debbie Cook and Christy Huggins, both of High Point, NC, and Marsha Lipscomb of Low Moor; four Brothers, Gary Rogers and his wife Tammy of Clifton Forge, Johnny Rogers and his wife Valerie of Low Moor, Rocky Rogers of Big Stone Gap, and Phillip Small of High Point, NC and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 5:00 PM in The Good News Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Steve Noel officiating. Following the service, the family will receive their friends at the church.
