Ralph Hancock, 77, of 2031 South Clark Avenue died Friday, May 18, 2018, in Lewis Gale Medical Center at Salem. Mr. Hancock was born April 3, 1941, in Alleghany County a son of the late George H. Hancock, Sr. and Dorothy Via Hancock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one Brother, George Hancock, Jr. and two Sisters, Nancy Fridley and Dottie Persinger. He had retired in 1998 as an Installer for the former CF-W Telephone Company in Covington after many years with the company. Surviving are his Wife of 42 years, Bobbie Tyree Hancock, of Covington; four Daughters and Sons-in-law, Kim and Woody Whitmer of Hampton, Tracey and Charles Hepler of Covoington, Traci and James Davis of Midlothian and Tiffany and Matt Bowser of Covington; 10 grandchildren; 1 Great Granddaughter; two Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie Hancock of Covington and Michael and Cathy Hancock of New Hampshire; his special canine friend, Baxter, and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A Memorial Service may be held at a later date.
